Storm No. 6 Nongfa enters the mainland of Ha Tinh - Quang Tri

On the morning of August 30, the tropical depression in the sea northwest of Hoang Sa archipelago strengthened into storm number 6, internationally known as Nongfa.

At 10am, the storm center was about 120km east of Bac Quang Tri , with strong winds of level 8, gusting to level 10-11, moving at a speed of 20-25km/h in the West Northwest direction.

It is forecasted that on the evening of August 30, the storm center will make landfall from South Ha Tinh to North Quang Tri, with common winds of level 6-7, near the storm center level 8, gusting to level 9-10.

Gusts of wind can be stronger than storm winds of level 3-4, in some places reaching level 11-12, causing roofs to be blown off, tree branches to break, rough seas, especially dangerous for boats and rafts along the coast.

In the Central region, from Thanh Hoa to Hue, the weather will be sunny in the afternoon and evening of September 2, creating favorable conditions for tourism and outdoor activities. The Central Highlands and the South will be sunny during the day, with scattered showers and thunderstorms in the evening and at night.

Hanoi weather on National Day September 2nd

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, during the National Day holiday, Hanoi may have light rain on the night of September 1 and early morning of September 2. The possibility of rain between 6am and 8am is estimated at 50-55%, with temperatures of 26-30°C, which may affect the ceremonies at Ba Dinh Square.

After 8am, the sky clears up, there is light sunshine in the afternoon and evening, the temperature increases to 28-34°C. The probability of rain decreases to about 30-40%, in general the weather is favorable for entertainment, sightseeing and outdoor activities.
