Ensuring smooth payment operations during National Day holidays in Dong Nai

According to Deputy Director of the State Bank of Vietnam, Region 2 Branch Nguyen Duc Lenh, to ensure payment activities are maintained, stable and smooth, during the National Day holiday, especially to perform well the task of paying to policy beneficiaries according to Decree 178/2024/ND-CP and the Government's Independence Day gifts to the people, the banking system in Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai province will ensure smooth operation of the interbank electronic payment system, implement the on-call regime and maintain payment accounting work; treasury work at satellites of the State Bank of Vietnam, Region 2 Branch during the holidays, ensure payment of expenses according to regulations, meet the requirements and directions of the Government and the State Bank of Vietnam.

In addition, credit institutions in Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai province should organize and carry out service activities well during the holidays; ensure the smooth operation of the ATM system, the effective operation of electronic banking services, online payments and especially maintain the 24/7 customer care and on-call regime to ensure consultation, guidance for customers and people and timely handling of arising incidents (if any). At the same time, credit institutions need to ensure the security and safety of their headquarters and banking activities during the holidays.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Lenh emphasized: Credit institutions, especially the Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development ( Agribank ) system with branches and transaction offices in communes in Dong Nai province, proactively perform well banking services during the holiday. In particular, combine all payment methods and coordinate with the State Treasury to promptly meet the cash needs of local authorities, especially in mountainous, rural and remote areas of the province, in order to pay the Government's Independence Day gifts to people on time for the holiday.
