China Daily: 365 days to realize the dream of a Vietnamese female singer.
In a recent article, China Daily paid special attention to Trang Phap and the Vietnamese artist's persistent journey in pursuing her musical career .
According to the newspaper, after graduating from Lumiere Lyon 2 University (France) in 2011, Trang Phap received an ultimatum from her family: she only had 365 days to prove that music was not merely a hobby. If she failed, she would return to Europe to study for a master's degree in economics and pursue a stable career as her parents wished.

However, each time the deadline expires, Trang Phap asks for another year to continue pursuing her dream. The singer likens this to constantly renewing her "visa" to stay with her passion (Photo: China Daily).
According to China Daily, a major turning point came for Trang Phap when she participated in the "Beautiful Sisters Riding the Waves" program in Vietnam in 2023. The success of the program not only helped her win the overall competition but also made her a member of the girl group Lunas.

Trang Phap shared that through the broadcasts, they can see the music creation process, rehearsals, and work behind the scenes, thereby bridging the generational gap between the two sides.
From behind-the-scenes musician to international stage
The China Daily article also recalled the time when Trang Pháp accepted a compromise with her family. After years of debate, she was allowed to continue working in the entertainment industry, but mainly as a songwriter rather than a performing singer.

However, her desire to return to the stage never faded. Therefore, she considered the invitation to participate in "Beautiful Sisters Riding the Waves" as a "signal from the universe" (Photo: Trang Pháp Official)
Recently, Trang Phap continued her appearance in the "Riding the Wind 2026" program in China as the only Vietnamese artist, attracting attention with a performance combining multilingual singing, piano playing, and dance.
