Accordingly, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Duong Anh Duc requested strict handling of the neighborhood security guard who beat two teenagers and other individuals involved in the incident at Nguyen Van To Secondary School.
In an urgent dispatch, the Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee requested the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to coordinate with the Ho Chi Minh City Police, the District 10 People's Committee, and relevant units to promptly verify the information and handle the case according to regulations regarding the actions of neighborhood security guards in assaulting two teenagers. This includes strictly punishing the person who directly assaulted the children and any individuals involved. A report on the results should be submitted to the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee before April 10th.
The Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City also instructed the Department of Education and Training to direct schools in Ho Chi Minh City to strengthen school security and order, preventing child violence, especially in educational institutions.
As reported by Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper, a video clip showing two teenagers being brutally beaten by neighborhood security guards has been circulating online. The incident was later confirmed by Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper to have occurred in the supervisor's office at Nguyen Van To Secondary School (Ward 14, District 10).
