According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, at 1:00 a.m. on November 7, the center of storm YInxing was located at approximately 18.3 degrees North latitude; 123.7 degrees East longitude, in the sea northeast of Lu Dong island. The strongest wind near the center of the storm was level 15 (167-183 km/h), gusting to level 17. Storm Yinxing is moving in a West-Northwest direction at a speed of 5-10 km/h.
Previously, at noon on November 6, Mr. Vu Anh Tuan, Deputy Head of Weather Forecast Department, National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, gave initial information about storm Yinxing.
“Latest update, around November 8, the storm is likely to enter the eastern area of the North East Sea, becoming storm number 7 in this year's rainy and stormy season,” Mr. Tuan commented.
According to Mr. Tuan, when entering the eastern sea of the North East Sea, the storm will be at level 12-13. When entering the East Sea, the storm is likely to be affected by cold air, the sea surface temperature will decrease and the environment will also change. Therefore, the intensity of the storm will also change, especially when entering the northeastern area of the Hoang Sa archipelago.

From the next 72 to 120 hours, the storm is likely to change direction to move West Southwest, traveling 10-15km per hour, and continue to weaken.
Warning of the impact of Typhoon Yinxing
The East Sea area of the North East Sea has strong winds of level 6-7. From the night of November 7, it will increase to level 8-10, near the storm center it will be level 11-13, gusting to level 16, waves 4.0-6.0m high, near the center 6.0-8.0m; rough seas.
Ships operating in the above mentioned dangerous areas are likely to be affected by storms, whirlwinds, strong winds and large waves.
