Specifically, the expressways being deployed include: Noi Bai - Lao Cai, Hai Phong - Mong Cai, Bac Giang - Lang Son, Cau Gie - Cao Bo, Da Nang - Quang Ngai, Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay, Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong.

Traffic police on duty on the routes will guide and regulate passenger vans with 29 seats or more and trucks weighing 7.5 tons or more to enter the right lane in the direction of travel (lane with lower speed).
The remaining lane (next to the median strip) will allow cars, trucks under 7.5 tons and passenger vans under 29 seats to operate.
In the first days of implementation, traffic police will guide drivers at toll stations and use mobile patrol cars to broadcast propaganda on loudspeakers on the road.
Major General Do Thanh Binh, Director of the Traffic Police Department, said that the re-regulation of traffic on the above routes aims to prevent slow-moving vehicles from sticking to the left lane, causing traffic congestion, reducing road efficiency, and at the same time preventing and reducing accidents on expressways.
