Arrest of gold shop robber in Binh Dinh

On the evening of August 29, Colonel Huynh Bao Nguyen - Deputy Director of Binh Dinh Provincial Police said that the police had arrested the suspect who robbed a gold shop in Tuy Phuoc district.

According to initial information, at around 6 p.m. the same day, a young man walking on National Highway 1A suddenly entered the My Linh 2 gold shop (Dieu Tri town, Tuy Phuoc district), broke the cabinet, took the gold, and then left. Discovering the incident, local people and Dieu Tri town police arrested this person.

The perpetrator of the robbery was identified as Nguyen Van Sy (25 years old, residing in Dak Lak province).

Currently, Tuy Phuoc District Police are taking statements from Sy to clarify the cause of the incident.
