The Investigation Police Agency - Provincial Police has just issued a decision to prosecute and order the temporary detention of Tran Thi Truc My (born in 1998, residing in Tuy An district, Phu Yen province) to investigate the act of fraud and appropriation of property.
In February 2022, My and Mr. HVL (born in 1992, residing in Cu Jut district, Dak Nong province) got married and had a wedding. After that, My told Mr. HXL (born in 1966, her father-in-law) that she was doing real estate business in Dong Nai, Binh Duong and Ho Chi Minh City. If Mr. L. had any capital, he could borrow it to help My do business and make a profit, and when the land was sold, he would pay it back in full.

Believing his daughter-in-law, from February 2022 to March 2023, Mr. L. transferred to My a total of more than 5.1 billion VND many times. In addition, Mr. L. also asked relatives living in Dak Lak province to transfer money to My to borrow.
Expanding the investigation, My confessed that in addition to appropriating her father-in-law's money, she also appropriated 1.2 billion VND from her husband and many other people, totaling nearly 17 billion VND.
