| The police in Duong No ward informed Mr. V. about the deceptive tactics of criminals who promise "easy work with high pay." |
Previously, via the Telegram app, Mr. TVV (residing in Mau Tai residential area, Duong No ward) was lured by unscrupulous individuals who promised him an easy job in Cambodia with a "huge" income. To gain his trust, the perpetrators booked a flight from Hue to Ho Chi Minh City and instructed Mr. V. that someone would pick him up and take him across the border.
Believing the诱惑 (enticement), Mr. V. packed his bags and was ready to leave. However, noticing his unusual behavior, his family reported the incident to the Duong No Ward Police.
Immediately after receiving the report, the police verified the information and coordinated with the family to meet with Mr. V., explaining the risks and dangers behind the aforementioned promises. After the explanation, Mr. V. realized his mistake and abandoned his intention to leave the country.
Mr. V.'s family sent a letter of thanks to the Duong No Ward Police for their timely intervention, helping their child recognize the sophisticated scams perpetrated by unscrupulous individuals.
This incident serves as a wake-up call to the public, especially young people seeking employment, to be extremely cautious about attractive job offers on social media.
