Ea Tam Ward Police have just handed over Ha Nguyen Ngoc Duong (born 2003, residing in Dang Kang Commune, Krong Bong District) and some exhibits to Buon Ma Thuot City Police to investigate and handle the act of property theft.
Previously, on the morning of December 18, Ea Tam Ward Police received a report from Mr. B (born in 1975, residing in Ea Tam Ward) that at about 3:45 a.m. the same day, his family was broken into by a thief who stole an Iphone 15 Pro worth 35 million VND and 500,000 VND.

Immediately after receiving the report, Ea Tam Ward Police quickly deployed forces to the scene and organized an investigation. Using many professional measures, very quickly afterwards, the police identified the perpetrator as Ha Nguyen Ngoc Duong. Continuing to follow the trail, the police determined that Duong had taken a bus and was on his way to Ho Chi Minh City.
Immediately afterwards, the Ea Tam Ward Police sent a task force to Ho Chi Minh City. At 4 p.m. the same day, the police intercepted and arrested Duong when he arrived at the Eastern Bus Station (Ho Chi Minh City), and confiscated the phone as evidence.
At the police station, Duong confessed that he had previously been in a relationship with Mr. B's daughter but had recently broken up. Because he needed money to play games and pay off debts, and because he knew the lifestyle of his ex-lover's family, Duong had the idea of breaking in and stealing property. In addition to the above theft, on July 9, Duong also broke into Mr. B's house and stole a diamond ring worth 34 million VND and on November 20, stole 12.5 million VND.
