
The grand ceremony attracted a large number of venerable monks and nuns, Buddhist followers, and people from the local area and surrounding regions.
At the ceremony, delegates, monks, nuns, and Buddhist followers performed the ritual of reciting Buddhist prayers for blessings, saluting the national flag and the Buddhist flag in a solemn and respectful atmosphere; commemorating the merits of Shakyamuni Buddha, remembering the founding masters and ancestors, and the heroic martyrs who sacrificed for national independence.

In the solemn atmosphere of the Buddha's Birthday celebration, the Organizing Committee conveyed important messages of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, emphasizing the spirit of compassion, wisdom, and peace of Buddhism, while affirming the role of Buddhism in accompanying the nation in the cause of building and developing the country.
Within the framework of the Grand Ceremony, many meaningful activities were organized such as offering flowers, bathing the Buddha statue, chanting prayers for national peace and prosperity, and giving charitable gifts to policy beneficiary families and households in difficult circumstances in Bat Trang commune. The Gia Lam Inter-commune Buddhist Representative Board donated 30 gift packages to families in difficult circumstances, demonstrating the spirit of compassion and mutual support of the nation.

Also at the program, the Executive Board of the Hanoi City Buddhist Association announced the decision to establish the Gia Lam Inter-communal Buddhist Representative Board for the term 2026-2031, with its office located at Keo Pagoda, Thuan An Commune.
