After two days and two nights of exciting competitions, performances, cultural exchanges, gong music, and sports activities, the 1st Ea Kar District Gong Culture and Sports Festival in 2023 concluded successfully, attracting thousands of spectators and tourists to watch and cheer.
According to the organizers, although this was the first time Ea Kar district organized the District Gong Culture and Sports Festival, it attracted a large number of gong teams from within the district, neighboring districts inside and outside the province, with 620 artisans, performers, and athletes participating in exchanges and competitions, creating a beneficial and meaningful playground for the people of the district's ethnic groups.

At the end of the festival, the organizing committee awarded prizes to the units and individuals who achieved high results in the various competitions.
The first prize for the overall team was awarded to Gà village (Ea Kmút commune); the second and third prizes went to M'Briu village and M'Oa village (Cư Huê commune) respectively; and the consolation prizes went to M'Rông A, T'Lung villages (Ea Kar town) and Ea Rớt village (Cư Elang commune).
