The information was given at the 27th Congress of the Party Committee of Military Hospital 103, term 2025-2030, held on July 2.

According to the summary report at the congress, in the past 5 years, the hospital has received more than 2.5 million medical examinations, performed about 33.6 million tests, organized 86 voluntary blood donation campaigns, treated more than 246,000 inpatients and performed nearly 69,000 surgeries.
The hospital began performing organ transplants in 1992, with its first kidney transplant. To date, the unit has performed about 1,500 kidney transplants. In addition, the hospital has performed liver, heart, pancreas-kidney, and lung transplants.
Some of the organ transplant techniques here include liver transplants from living donors and brain-dead donors, liver transplants for both adults and children, including cases of blood group incompatibility.
At the congress, leaders of the Military Medical Academy mentioned the orientation to continue developing organ transplant techniques and improving treatment capacity in a number of other fields, such as cancer and clinical pharmacy.
The hospital also aims to expand the application of a number of new technologies in medicine, including regenerative medicine, molecular biology, robotic surgery and artificial intelligence in diagnosis and treatment.
