On the morning of February 2nd, Comrade Duong Van An – Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Binh Thuan province – visited and extended New Year greetings to several military units stationed in Phan Thiet city.
Also accompanying the delegation to visit and extend New Year greetings were representatives from the Provincial Military Command and the Provincial Party Committee Office. On this occasion, the delegation visited Brigade 681 – Naval Region 2, Regiment 812, and Reconnaissance Company 5 – Provincial Military Command.
During the visits, representatives from the units reported to the Provincial Party Secretary on the implementation of tasks in 2023, the readiness for combat duty during the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Dragon 2024, and the provision of benefits for officers and soldiers.
The units have strictly maintained combat readiness; participated in and achieved high results in competitions and sports events. Training ensured absolute safety for personnel and equipment; and completed and exceeded assigned targets. The units also coordinated with local authorities to effectively carry out activities in civilian affairs.
The Provincial Party Secretary acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts and results achieved by the units in the past period. Each unit has effectively upheld the traditions of the Army and its respective forces and units, thereby continuing to build and spread a positive image of the soldiers of Uncle Ho's Army.
On the occasion of the traditional Lunar New Year, the Provincial Party Secretary presented gifts and wished the officers, soldiers, and their families a happy new year; and wished the units continued success in fulfilling their assigned tasks.
