(kontumtv.vn) – On the afternoon of July 31, Party Central Committee member, Provincial Party Secretary, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Duong Van Trang and the Provincial People's Council Delegation running for election in Sa Thay district and the Sa Thay District People's Council Delegation met with voters in Ya Ly commune.

At the meeting, after the representative of the People's Council Delegation at two levels announced the results of the 7th session of the 12th Provincial People's Council and the contents of the Resolutions passed at the session; announced the results of the 8th session of the Sa Thay District People's Council, 11th term, voters of Ya Ly commune had opinions and recommendations related to the field of transportation.

Specifically, voters recommended that there are currently more than 200 households in Lang Chu and Lang Tum farming in Ya Tang commune, and people mainly travel by small boats, which poses a potential risk of unsafety when traveling, especially during the rainy season. Voters recommended that the district pay attention to investing in a suspension bridge from Lang Chu, Ya Ly commune to the Lang Trap production area, Ya Tang commune so that people can conveniently go to the production area and transport agricultural products; recommend that the Department of Transport direct the construction unit of the road connecting Ia Chim commune, Kon Tum city with Provincial Road 675A, Sa Thay district to speed up the construction progress and put the project into use soon so that people in the area can conveniently travel and transport agricultural products; pay attention to investing in drainage ditches on newly invested roads in the commune because many roads are sunken, flooded, causing landslides; Recommend the Provincial People's Committee to pay attention to investing in upgrading and repairing the main road of the commune to facilitate people's travel and attract tourists to visit and experience at Lang Cho Tourist Wharf.

Voters' opinions and recommendations were specifically answered by leaders of Sa Thay District People's Committee and the Department of Transport at the meeting.

Provincial Party Secretary Duong Van Trang requested the Party Committee and the government of Ya Ly commune to mobilize people to maintain the existing rubber area; expand the coffee and durian growing area; renovate mixed gardens, plant fruit trees with high economic value; and relevant agencies and units to focus on implementing work contents, resolving voters' opinions and recommendations.

After meeting voters, Provincial Party Secretary Duong Van Trang and delegates of the Provincial and District People's Councils visited mixed garden renovation models in Ya Ly commune./.
