Provincial Party Secretary Ton Ngoc Hanh works with the Southern Power Project Management Board

BPO - On the morning of June 11, Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ton Ngoc Hanh and member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Truong Son, along with leaders of departments, branches and sectors, received and worked with the delegation of the Southern Power Project Management Board.

Mr. Dang Chien Thang, Deputy Director of the Southern Power Project Management Board, reported on the implementation of projects in Binh Phuoc province.

Currently, in Binh Phuoc province, the Southern Power Project Management Board is urgently implementing 3 urgent projects directed by the Prime Minister, including: Binh Duong 1 - Chon Thanh 500kV transmission line project with a length of about 16.5km. The project's objective is to support the reduction of transmission capacity on the Chon Thanh - Cau Bong 500kV transmission line, ensuring continuous and stable transmission of capacity from the Central Highlands to the South, creating a strong connection between the Central and the South. The Duc Hoa - Chon Thanh 500kV transmission line project has a total length of about 104km, passing through 4 provinces: Long An, Tay Ninh, Binh Duong and Binh Phuoc. The Krong Buk - Tay Ninh 1 500kV transmission line project has a length of about 329km passing through 5 provinces: Dak Nong, Dak Lak, Tay Ninh, Binh Duong and Binh Phuoc. The route mainly passes through mountainous areas, parallel to the 500kV Pleiku 2 - Chon Thanh line (for the section passing through Dak Lak and Dak Nong provinces) and passes through areas mainly growing rubber in Binh Phuoc, Binh Duong and Tay Ninh provinces.

Delegates expressed opinions and clarified a number of issues at the meeting.

In order to complete the projects on time, ensure the supply of electricity to Binh Phuoc province and neighboring areas, ensure energy security, serve the socio -economic development of the country, at the meeting, the representative of the Southern Power Project Management Board requested the Provincial People's Committee to pay attention and support so that the projects can be implemented soon. The delegates attending the meeting also had discussions, clarified and determined solutions in the coming time.

Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Truong Son spoke at the meeting.

Concluding the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Ton Ngoc Hanh emphasized the need to continue to accelerate the implementation of steps so that the projects can meet the set schedule; especially, it is necessary to coordinate smoothly with the people who have been mobilized and agreed to clear the land to soon have land to implement the projects. The Provincial Party Committee will have specific instructions related to the issue of land clearance.
