On the afternoon of September 17, Mr. Tran Luu Quang, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, led a working delegation to visit and work with Binh Duong ward.
Infrastructure is invested and planned systematically.
At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Van Dong, Secretary of Binh Duong Ward, said that the ward belongs to the old Binh Duong Provincial Administrative Center, so the infrastructure is well invested, well planned, the roads are wide, and there are no traffic jams.

The ward also has 7 industrial parks (the most in Ho Chi Minh City), so the development opportunities are huge.
Besides, Mr. Dong also said that in order to develop synchronously, Binh Duong ward must soon establish a planning, land use plan, and general urban development plan.
According to statistics, the number of primary school students is increasing but the current number of schools is not enough to meet the demand. According to calculations, by 2030, it will be necessary to invest in three schools (2 primary schools, 1 secondary school) to meet the number of students.

In addition, Binh Duong ward has a very large area, the number of people from other localities coming to live and work is very large. Therefore, the police and military forces have to work very hard to patrol the entire area. Binh Duong ward proposed to install cameras at key areas, and provide more vehicles for the patrol force.
Building a science and technology ecosystem
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Tran Luu Quang, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, highly appreciated the results that Binh Duong ward has achieved in recent times. Mr. Tran Luu Quang suggested that Binh Duong ward take advantage of its existing advantages and favorable conditions to develop strongly.

The Secretary of Ho Chi Minh City requested that Binh Duong ward must ensure good security and order to develop the economy, and the police force must stick to the people and the grassroots. If security and order are not ensured, no one will dare to invest and the economy will not develop.
In addition, Mr. Tran Luu Quang also noted that Binh Duong ward must do a good job with the trade union and focus on education. "The Department of Finance should focus resources on the old Binh Duong area for development and education, and must be flexible to ensure there is no shortage of teachers" - said the Secretary of Ho Chi Minh City.
Secretary of the City Party Committee Tran Luu Quang also expressed his desire to build Binh Duong ward into a science and technology ecosystem, based on resources, advantages and existing infrastructure. At the same time, it is necessary to train and educate cadres to improve their skills to handle work in the best way.
Binh Duong Ward was established on the basis of merging Hoa Phu, Phu My, Phu Tan wards of Thu Dau Mot City and Phu Chanh Ward of Tan Uyen City, former Binh Duong province.
The ward has a total area of 58,157 km² (of which, Binh Duong Industrial - Service and Urban Complex accounts for about 75% of the total area of the ward with 4,196.8 hectares).
