Enterprises - the driving force of economic growth

The business community is growing stronger and stronger.

The province currently has more than 38,000 enterprises and 93,000 business households. In the first 9 months of 2025 alone, Tay Ninh had 2,600 new enterprises with registered capital of nearly 16,000 billion VND. To date, the private economic sector is contributing more than 60% of the province's gross regional domestic product (GRDP), more than 24% of the total state budget revenue and creating jobs for more than 77% of the province's workforce.

According to Mr. Vu Manh Hung - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hung Nhon Group, 2022 marks the mark of Hung Nhon Group in Tay Ninh with large-scale agricultural projects applying high technology. The development and growth of the Group is always associated with many activities in coordination with local authorities to contribute to ensuring social security, especially caring for the poor, victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin, solving jobs for local workers, etc. "In addition to efforts to develop production, business, build corporate brands and contribute to the development of the province, we always want to accompany the locality to take care of social security" - Mr. Vu Manh Hung emphasized. This is also the spirit and mission of dedication of the business community in general in the province.

After the merger, Tay Ninh province has a new position as a dynamically developing locality; the economic scale ranks 10th in the country; the terrain and soil are diverse, suitable for developing many economic spearheads. The expansion of development space not only brings the province special advantages in geo-economics, creating conditions to connect the Southeast region with the Mekong Delta, linked to the Trans-Asia economic corridor axis, but also is one of the regional linkage centers and international trade gateways of the whole country, opening up opportunities for breakthroughs in economic cooperation, border trade and international logistics. The economic scale of Tay Ninh province by 2025 is estimated to reach nearly 350 trillion VND, an increase of 61.6% compared to 2020, expected to rank 10th in the country.

In the first 9 months of 2025 alone, the province's GRDP is estimated to increase by 9.63%, exceeding the scenario assigned by the Government. Total state budget revenue by September 18, 2025 is more than 37,400 billion VND, reaching 100.5% of the estimate assigned by the Central Government, reaching 99.3% of the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council, an increase of 33% over the same period.

The above results have positive contributions of the business community to the stability and socio-economic development, job creation and income for workers, contribution to the state budget and implementation of social security policies at the local level.

Unity for double-digit growth target

Like many other localities across the country, in the next 5 years, the province strives to achieve a double-digit economic growth target. This is a very important target that will be discussed and decided by the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030. To achieve this goal, the province has proposed many groups of solutions, in which the role of the private economy is identified as an important driving force.

Accordingly, the province continues to support and create conditions for economic sectors to develop, increase investment activities, and actively and effectively contribute to the socio-economic development of the locality. The province will also effectively implement Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW, dated May 4, 2025 of the Politburo on private economic development so that this economic sector becomes one of the important driving forces contributing to growth, increasing labor productivity, and improving local competitiveness. Promote and create breakthroughs in the development and improvement of the quality and scale of small and medium-sized enterprises, cooperatives, and cooperatives. Prepare well plans, land use planning, and preferential policies to attract pioneering, leading, and spreading enterprises in the economy. Promote the role of Business Associations and Unions in supporting members, connecting with the government, and developing the market.

Mr. Pham Trong Nghia - Vice Chairman of Tay Ninh Young Entrepreneurs Association, Director of Anh Duong Machinery and Equipment Joint Stock Company, said: “We expect the new Tay Ninh to become a “magnet” attracting foreign and domestic investment. In my opinion, the double-digit growth target is feasible, on the basis of the province unblocking growth drivers and synchronously implementing solutions to accompany and support businesses. For the business community, the most practical support of the province is to create a fair and transparent business environment, including FDI enterprises, domestic enterprises and small enterprises”.

At the Business Dialogue Conference held on September 18, 2025 in Tan Ninh Ward, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Ut affirmed: "The success of businesses is key to growth, especially the private economic sector in the spirit of Resolution No. 68 of the Politburo. Tay Ninh will always accompany businesses, not only in attracting investment but also throughout the project implementation process. The province continues to improve the investment environment, simplify administrative procedures, promptly remove obstacles in production and business, and create all favorable conditions for business development"./.
