Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Trinh Minh Hoang worked with Netafim Group

On the afternoon of October 2, Mr. Trinh Minh Hoang - Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee had a working session with the high-ranking delegation of Netafim Group on the cooperation between the group and the province to promote the application of high technology in the agricultural sector. Attending the meeting were leaders of relevant departments and branches.

At the meeting, representatives of Netafim Group briefly introduced the group, its operating orientation in Vietnam and advanced technological solutions in the agricultural sector, such as: water-saving irrigation systems, combining sensors, digital technology and automatic management, helping to optimize the use of water, fertilizer and energy. Based on the survey results of some agricultural crop growing areas of the province, the group proposed to implement two key cooperation contents, including: Building a community irrigation model for key crop groups; Organizing training programs, transferring water-saving irrigation techniques to farmers to contribute to improving productivity, quality of agricultural products, developing sustainable agriculture, and enhancing the competitiveness of products in the international market.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Trinh Minh Hoang highly appreciated the cooperation proposal of Netafim Group; at the same time, he affirmed that Khanh Hoa province is focusing on developing large-scale, valuable agriculture; promoting the application of high technology and is ready to create favorable conditions for businesses and investors to accompany in realizing this goal. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment and the Department of Science and Technology to coordinate with the group to organize seminars to introduce techniques, technology, as well as operation methods and investment costs for households in growing areas to learn; thereby implementing the next steps of cooperation in the coming time.
