BIC launches BIC Bac Son Branch

BIDV Insurance Corporation (BIC) recently held an opening ceremony for its BIC Bac Son Branch in Bac Giang City. This is BIC's 37th member unit, officially commencing operations on December 1, 2024.

BIC Bac Son operates in the provinces of Bac Giang and Lang Son. Bac Giang has great economic potential thanks to its developed agriculture, industrial zones attracting large FDI capital, and convenient transportation infrastructure. Meanwhile, Lang Son is a gateway for trade with China, playing an important role in Vietnam's import and export activities. The presence of BIC Bac Son will help enhance the diversification of products and services, improve the quality of customer care, and bring the BIC insurance brand closer to customers in the two provinces. In particular, as an integral part of BIDV's business ecosystem, the establishment of the BIC Bac Son branch will strengthen close cooperation between BIC and BIDV branches in the area, thereby providing diverse financial products to meet the maximum needs of customers.

Congratulating BIC Bac Son, Chairman of the Board of Directors Tran Xuan Hoang expressed his hope that the unit will become one of BIC's most efficient and dynamic members, thereby contributing to increasing customer confidence in the BIC brand. Mr. Tran Xuan Hoang wished BIC Bac Son to make good use of its internal resources, flexibly seize market opportunities, overcome all challenges, and make a positive contribution to the overall performance of the BIC system.

In particular, on the occasion of the opening of the BIC Bac Son Branch, BIC awarded scholarships to underprivileged students in Luc Nam and Son Dong districts with a total amount of 100,000,000 VND. This gesture affirms BIC's commitment to supporting future generations and the sustainable development of the locality.

Also at the ceremony, BIC Bac Son signed a fire and explosion insurance contract with Vietnam Sunergy Co., Ltd. (Bac Ninh) and an all-risk construction insurance contract with An Binh Thang Long Construction Investment Joint Stock Company. The total insured value of both contracts amounted to nearly 500 billion VND.

In the coming period, BIC will continue to implement its strategy of expanding its operational network, diversifying products, and improving service quality to better serve and meet the increasingly diverse needs of customers.
