pristine beauty
With a coastline of up to 189km, stretching from Xuan Dai Bay in the North to Hon Nua in the South, Phu Yen possesses a rich and charming treasure of natural islands and seas, becoming an attractive destination in the summer of 2025 for those who love wild and pure beauty.
Phu Yen beach has the beauty of the intersection between mountains and waves, between rocks and water. The gentle beaches stretch out as if inviting visitors to immerse themselves in the cool water. Tuy Hoa beach, the central beach of the city with fine white sand, airy sea park space and a special highlight is Nghinh Phong tower. This is an ideal place for visitors who want to relax near urban amenities but still feel the breath of the ocean. With a long, clean and flat sandy beach, this place in the summer is lit up by the brilliant sunrise and colorful sunset. A little further is Long Thuy beach, standing out with its peaceful appearance, quiet fishing village and calm sea water like a lake, very suitable for family vacations. Long Thuy is like a peaceful highlight, where local residents and visitors often choose to swim, play sports , or experience the bustling early morning market right on the sand.
On the Vietnam tourism map, Phu Yen is not a noisy or prominent destination, but it is the quietness and modesty that makes this land retain its rare pure beauty. Along National Highway 1 or the newly opened coastal road, visitors can easily come across picturesque beaches: white sand, blue water, gentle waves and a quiet space.

National scenic spot with true reputation
One of the precious gems of Phu Yen sea is Xuan Dai Bay - considered as "miniature Ha Long Bay" of the Central region. The bay is located in Song Cau town, about 50km north of Tuy Hoa city, famous for its sheltered terrain, calm water surface and charming scenery.
Xuan Dai owns many small islands, peninsulas and picturesque fishing villages, typically Nhat Tu Son island - connected to the mainland by a sandy road that appears at low tide. Here you can organize activities such as camping, mountain climbing, exploring stone caves, and enjoying fresh seafood caught by fishermen.
The bay is surrounded by Xuan Thinh and Tu Nham peninsulas, inside are fishing villages, salt fields, lagoons, dotted with basket boats bobbing to the rhythm of the waves. Around the bay area, there are also traditional craft villages such as making fish sauce, dried fish, aquaculture... creating vibrant and unique community tourism experiences. This is not only an ideal place to explore the beauty of the ocean but also to experience the authentic and rustic life of fishermen.
If Phu Yen is likened to a poem, then Ganh Da Dia is a unique, outstanding, majestic and one-of-a-kind verse. Ganh Da Dia - a geological masterpiece by the sea!
This special national landscape is located in An Ninh Dong commune, Tuy An district, about 35km from Tuy Hoa. Ganh gathers thousands of hexagonal and pentagonal basalt columns stacked on top of each other like a stack of plates - creating a spectacular and unique scene in Vietnam.
In the summer, Ganh Da Dia becomes even more attractive when the waves crash against the rocks, creating murmuring sounds and white foam, combined with the sun and wind, making visitors feel the power and beauty of nature. Not far from there is Ganh Den - where there is a lighthouse that lights up the sea at night - an ideal place to check-in to welcome the sunrise or watch the sunset.

Strolling on the coastal island
Phu Yen not only has beautiful beaches but also a unique coastal island system. The most prominent of these is the Hon Yen archipelago (Tuy An district). On low tide days, a colorful coral reef will appear before the eyes of the viewer, creating a rare and fascinating sight in Vietnam.
About 4km from the mainland, in An Hoa Hai commune (Tuy An district), Cu Lao Mai Nha is known as the "Robinson Island" of Phu Yen because of its wild and peaceful beauty. With an area of less than 1.5km², the island is like a green dot in the middle of the vast ocean and sky, standing out with its fine white sand, crystal clear water that can see the bottom, and layers of rocky cliffs creating a unique highlight for the landscape. This place has a rare quiet and pristine space.
In the flow of modern life, Phu Yen appears as a beautiful silence. The sea here is not bustling, not crowded, but like a good friend, patiently waiting for you to come and share peaceful moments. This summer, when the sun begins to rise and people's hearts urge to move, let Phu Yen island be the place where you set your first foot, enjoying the brilliant summer...
Visitors to Mai Nha Islet often choose to camp overnight, dive to see corals or kayak around the island. Campfire nights amidst the murmuring waves, the starry sky and the salty breeze from the ocean make the experience here especially unforgettable. Mai Nha Islet is not only a place to relax but also a place to return to nature, where people can temporarily put aside the hustle and bustle of the city to listen to their hearts in the tranquility of the ocean.
Hon Chua is located not far from Long Thuy beach, the sea water is clear, suitable for SUP activities, scuba diving to see coral, or simply immersing yourself in the vast ocean in a peaceful setting.
Further south is Hon Nua, the border between Phu Yen and Khanh Hoa. The island is like a “gem”, with long white sand beaches, lush green forests, turquoise sea water and cool air all year round. This is a favorite destination for young people who love to explore, trek, camp overnight, fish and watch the stars right on the pristine sand, experiencing a truly “slow living” space.
Miss Tourism Ambassador 2024 Dinh Thi Hoa came to Phu Yen island and felt: The beauty of Phu Yen island comes not only from the scenery, but also from the people. The peaceful coastal fishing villages still retain their traditional lifestyle, where fishermen go out to sea at sunset and return every morning, where children's laughter echoes with the sound of the waves. Fresh seafood dishes, simply prepared but rich in flavor such as grilled oysters with scallion oil, tuna eyes, seafood porridge, sea urchins... are indispensable flavors for every journey to explore this place.
