On October 1, the Vietnam Interior - Construction Exhibition VIBE 2025, organized by the Handicraft and Wood Processing Association of Ho Chi Minh City (HAWA) and the Construction and Building Materials Association of Ho Chi Minh City (SACA), officially opened and will last until October 4.
With the pioneering theme "Next in Space - The future of living space", the event is an opportunity for 150 businesses with more than 550 booths to spread the trend of connecting value chains, expanding cooperation and elevating Vietnamese brands in the new context.
Share with PV , Mr. Phung Quoc Man - Chairman of HAWA - said that this year the scale of the exhibition and revenue from services and booths has doubled compared to last year. This shows the interest of businesses in the domestic market in the context of wood and furniture exports continuously facing "tax storms" from the US market and competitive pressure from other countries.
In fact, in the export sector, the Vietnamese wood industry has built a fairly complete chain, meeting international standards. However, in the domestic market, Vietnamese enterprises are only in the starting stage and gradually completing.
VIBE 2025 is an opportunity for businesses in the industry to introduce products, find partners and better exploit the potential of the domestic market.
"The highlight of the exhibition is the ecosystem. Here, businesses and visitors can access a full range of products from furniture, construction materials, sanitary equipment, tiles to wood products and consumer materials. Thanks to that, investors or buyers can find complete solutions without spending a lot of time searching individually," said Mr. Man.
On the first morning, VIBE 2025 recorded more than 3,000 visits. Customers expressed strong impressions of the interior with strong Vietnamese identity, along with architectural and construction solutions integrating new generation green technology and materials.
Mr. Nguyen Van Sang - CEO of Furnist Interior and Exterior Company (HCMC), whose booth participated in the exhibition - is confident that with the advantage of having successfully exported to many international markets, Vietnamese enterprises' products can completely meet the increasing demands of domestic consumers.
Instead of having to import, domestic consumers can choose high quality Vietnamese products with modern design and great usage value.
Mr. Khai Quoc Binh - Deputy Director of the Department of Construction of Ho Chi Minh City - said that in the context of Ho Chi Minh City officially merging with Binh Duong and Ba Ria - Vung Tau provinces, the development space is expanding, the need for synchronous development of transport infrastructure, urban areas, housing, industry and seaports is very large, requiring innovation from management to economic development strategies.
This is also an opportunity for the architecture - interior - construction industry to affirm its role, take advantage of the urbanization wave and the need to innovate and develop urban living spaces.
