On May 31st, the People's Committee of Tuong Mai Ward (Hanoi City) collaborated with Mobifone Hanoi to organize a digital skills training conference for community digital transformation teams, and simultaneously deployed "Mobile Digital Education Centers" in many residential areas within the ward.

The program focuses on guiding people to install and use digital applications such as iHanoi, VNeID, online public services, and utilities that support searching for administrative procedures directly on their smartphones.
Many of the practical exercises are designed to be simple and intuitive, making them easily accessible and usable for the general public, especially the elderly.
Citizens are guided step-by-step on how to log in to the National Public Service Portal, submit applications online, track application processing progress, and use artificial intelligence (AI) features on the iHanoi application.

Speaking at the conference, Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Lan, Head of the Culture and Social Affairs Department of Tuong Mai Ward, said that digital transformation is no longer a trend but has become an essential requirement in management, administration, and serving the people.
"Community-based digital transformation teams play a core role, directly supporting people in accessing and using digital platforms and services right from the grassroots level," Ms. Mai Lan emphasized.
According to her, in recent times, Tuong Mai ward has implemented many practical activities such as diverse forms of propaganda, providing technological skills training for members of community digital technology teams, supporting people in carrying out online administrative procedures and accessing digital utilities in daily life.
However, digital transformation at the grassroots level still faces many difficulties, as a segment of the population is unfamiliar with technology, has limited digital skills, and still harbors reservations about online procedures.

At the mobile training point for residential areas No. 13, 18, and 20 (Hoang Van Thu Street), Tuong Mai Ward, Party Secretary Vu Quang Hieu stated that the "Digital People's Education" model is helping many people change their habits in carrying out administrative procedures.
"Previously, many people had to come in person to inquire about procedures, but after being guided, many elderly people now know how to get a number online, look up their records, and use the iHanoi application right on their phones," Mr. Hieu shared.
During the training session, Ms. Tran Thu Ha, a resident of the former Hoang Van Thu residential area 14 (Tuong Mai ward), said that she used to be quite hesitant to use her phone for administrative procedures because she was afraid of making mistakes.
"Thanks to the step-by-step guidance from the staff, I now know how to log into iHanoi and look up my records. The instructions were easy to understand, so even an elderly person like me could follow them," said Ms. Ha.

Meanwhile, Mr. Dinh The Hung, from residential group 15, formerly Hoang Van Thu (Tuong Mai ward), shared that being guided on how to use online public services has saved him a lot of travel time. “Previously, I often had to take time off work to go and do paperwork in person. Now I can get a number online and track my application on my phone, which is much more convenient,” Mr. Hung said.
According to the Head of the Culture and Social Affairs Department of Tuong Mai Ward, in the coming time, the locality will continue to maintain mobile training points, promote propaganda about digital transformation and promote the role of community digital transformation teams to bring digital technology closer to the people.
