The event is scheduled to take place over two days, from May 30 to 31, in Phuoc Son commune, Tuy Phuoc district.
In 2023, the 14th Binh Dinh Province Coastal Culture and Sports Festival will be held in Cat Tien town, Phu Cat district.
According to the plan, this festival will feature many rich activities imbued with the identity of the coastal region. Specifically, in the cultural activities, there will be a beauty contest, an art contest with the theme "Homeland Sea and Islands"; a coastal beauty contest (with performances of traditional costumes, sports, summer, talent and behavior).
For sports activities, there will be men's boat racing; free swimming; and mixed men's and women's tug of war. Along with that, there will be cultural and culinary exchange activities, in which each participating unit will have 2 specialties (1 food and 1 drink) with explanations and introductions.
According to Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee Lam Hai Giang, the 15th Binh Dinh Province Coastal Culture and Sports Festival in 2025 is an opportunity for fishermen in coastal districts, towns and cities to meet, exchange, learn and share experiences in labor and production.
Through cultural and sports activities, contribute to preserving and promoting the traditional cultural values typical of coastal residents of Binh Dinh, meeting the people's needs for cultural enjoyment and creation.
The 15th Binh Dinh Province Coastal Culture and Sports Festival in 2025 is an opportunity for fishermen in coastal districts, towns and cities to meet, exchange, learn and share experiences in work and production.
At the same time, encourage and motivate all people to effectively carry out the movements "All people unite to build a cultural life", "All people participate in protecting territorial sovereignty and national border security"; contributing to the successful implementation of the province's socio-economic development tasks in 2025.
The leaders of Binh Dinh province also requested that the festival be organized at the provincial level, in the spirit of solidarity, exchange, learning, preservation and promotion of the cultural identity of the sea and islands of Binh Dinh; ensuring artistic quality and effective political propaganda.
The forms of propaganda, visual decoration and content of cultural and sports activities are organized in a rich and diverse manner, harmoniously combining modern elements with the traditional cultural identity of coastal residents of Binh Dinh; suitable to the practical conditions of localities and units.
