Binh Duong organizes "Civilized Saturday" campaign.

This activity is part of Project No. 02-DA/TU, dated July 23, 2021, of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee on the Project "Mass mobilization work in building a cultured and civilized lifestyle" in Binh Duong province for the period 2021-2025; and Plan 02-KH/DUK dated June 5, 2024, of the Party Committee of the Bloc of Provincial Agencies in Binh Duong on organizing and implementing "Civilized Saturday".

Trade union members and youth union members of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism actively participated in the "Civilized Saturday" initiative.

Following President Ho Chi Minh's teaching: "Labor is a glorious, honorable, joyful, and heroic undertaking," the aim is to promote awareness and pioneering spirit among cadres, civil servants, employees, union members, and workers throughout the sector. Actively participating in activities in response to the "Civilized Saturday" movement with many vibrant, practical, and effective activities, creating widespread impact, gradually forming habits, self-awareness, and a sense of responsibility in preserving and protecting the environment, while contributing to building a cultured and civilized lifestyle, and working together to build a green, clean, beautiful, and environmentally friendly Binh Duong province.

Mr. Bui Huu Toan, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, participated in clearing weeds and tending to ornamental plants.

The campaign attracted more than 50 officials, civil servants, union members, and youth union members from the sector to participate in cleaning up, removing weeds, trimming lawns and trees; planting more trees and ornamental flowers, beautifying the landscape at the workplace, and collecting plastic waste... in the grounds of the Provincial Sports Training and Competition Center.

During the campaign, officials, civil servants, union members, and youth union members enthusiastically and responsibly cleaned up over 500 square meters of land in the program's implementation area.

According to the plan of the grassroots Trade Union and Youth Union, the program is divided into several rotating sessions at 5 affiliated units and the Office Block of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The program is implemented on one Saturday morning of the last week of each month (except for the headquarters of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, which is implemented on Friday afternoon of the last week of each month). The program runs from August 2024 to the end of December 2025.

Trade union members and youth union members of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism carried out weeding, sweeping, and landscaping work in the grounds of the Provincial Sports Training and Competition Center.

Launching the "Civilized Saturday" campaign is an activity that contributes to the effective implementation of the Project on Mass Mobilization Work in Building a Culturally and Civilized Lifestyle, which is being implemented by all levels, sectors, and localities throughout Binh Duong province.
