The photo series "Soldiers race against time to search for missing victims in Lang Nu village".
Sharing his thoughts on the photo series "Soldiers Racing Against Time to Search for Missing Victims in Lang Nu Village (Lao Cai), which won the A prize in the photo series category," reporter Pham Bang (Lao Cai Newspaper) said: "As a reporter in a mountainous area frequently affected by landslides, flash floods, and mudslides, I have often followed the army's participation in helping people in disaster-stricken areas."
However, I have never been as haunted as by the landslide in Lang Nu village, especially the moment when the soldiers carried the coffins of the unfortunate victims out of the scene. Eating and living alongside the soldiers helping the people in Lang Nu village, I truly saw the deep bond between the military and the people. With unity and cooperation, any difficulty can be overcome.”
