To be honest, if I play a villain role, I can't surpass others, so I focus on positive roles. That's how I improve the quality of my acting."

Male artist Tuan Anh shared that although his father created conditions for him to pursue his career, he did not really like the fact that he often played villain roles: " Before, my father did not like it when I often played villain roles.

He often asked me why I kept taking on villain roles, not like my father at all. But I myself had no control over what kind of roles I would be chosen for."

After many years of dedication to the country's art, in 2023, father and son artists Duc Trung and Tuan Anh received good news. Accordingly, in the 2023 consideration for the title of People's Artist and Meritorious Artist, Meritorious Artist Duc Trung was on the list of artists awarded the title of People's Artist and artist Tuan Anh was also awarded the title of Meritorious Artist.

As for director Tran Binh Trong, he said that father and son often discuss their careers even though the types of roles they play do not "clash": "Although they are both television actors, father and son have gone into two completely different acting careers. I do amateur comedy, my father does professional drama, so there is never any conflict.

Whenever I have a new script or film project, I bring it home to ask my father about his expertise. If his advice is correct, I will accept it, and if it is wrong, I will correct it accordingly."

Recently, artist Tran Nhuong and his son have started to collaborate together in a few Tet comedies.
