At the meeting, representatives from the businesses expressed strong agreement with the province's policy of transforming the long-standing industrial zone into a modern and civilized urban area. Regarding land and factory lease contracts, most parties have signed agreements to terminate contracts by July 31st to hand over the land to the state.
Mr. Nguyen Quoc An, Deputy Head of the Management Board of Industrial Parks and Economic Zones of Dong Nai Province, informed that, to date, the policies, plans, and compensation and support measures for the implementation of the Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park Functional Conversion Project have been communicated to businesses by relevant authorities. This meeting aimed to assess the situation regarding the liquidation of land and factory lease contracts and the progress of asset relocation by businesses, in order to report to the Provincial People's Committee. Other opinions from businesses at this meeting will be recorded by the Management Board of Industrial Parks and Economic Zones of Dong Nai Province and relevant departments and agencies, and reported to the competent authorities.

Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park has a total area of over 330 hectares. To implement the Project to transform Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park into an urban, commercial, and service area and improve the environment, the province will reclaim approximately 229 hectares of land. According to the roadmap set by the province, the compensation and land clearance will be completed before August 1, 2025.
