Soobin Hoang Son and his son sing Xam, stirring up the first solo concert night in Hanoi

The father and son artists stirred up the space of My Dinh Athletics Palace with Xam and Quan Ho melodies, no less outstanding than the modern songs that made the name of "pop-ballad prince" Soobin.

On the evening of May 26, male singer Soobin had his first solo concert in his music career - the show "SOOBIN LIVE CONCERT: ALL-ROUNDER."

The 3-hour concert at My Dinh Sports and Athletics Palace (Hanoi) featured famous guests such as Binz, Rhymastic, Justatee from the SpaceSpeakers group. Equally special was his father - the monochord artist, People's Artist Huynh Tu.

People's Artist Huynh Tu appeared in the middle of the program, opening the explosive folk music section. Father and son sang the famous Xam song "Muc Ha Vo Nhan" and the song "Ngoi Nien Man Thuyen" from Quan Ho folk songs. "Muc Ha Vo Nhan" was combined with Binz's rap.

“I have been waiting for this day for 30 years since Soobin was conceived,” Mr. Tu emotionally shared.

After 18 years of not being on stage, People's Artist Huynh Tu has retreated behind the scenes. He mainly directs stages, festivals, composes film music, and is also the director of several major programs such as "Sao Mai" and "Good Voice of Hanoi ."

For Soobin, his father was his first music teacher, teaching him the monochord from the age of 3 and passing on to him the love of music in general and folk music in particular.

On stage, father and son “juggled” well. Many audience members were delighted and expressed their emotions when they were invited to the stage to compete in a mini-game of singing and dancing to a folk melody of their choice.

Along with the folk melodies are modern and impressive performances in terms of sound and sight. The music night brings together prominent names today such as stage director Dinh Ha Uyen Thu, music director SlimV (both famous for the program "Anh trai vu ngan cong gai "), music director Lam Dao Dao, visual director Tran Quoc Vuong...

At the show, Soobin performed more than 20 songs such as "Behind a Girl," "Please Don't Be Silent," "BlackJack," "Superstar," "Love from afar," "Fall away," "Da Lo Yeu Em Nhieu" ... solo or feat (sing with) many famous faces in the industry such as tlinh and the SpaceSpeakers group including JustaTee, Rhymastic, Binz.

The 33-year-old singer also looked back on his journey from making underground hip-hop music to becoming famous with pop ballads, including working with the SpaceSpeakers group.

After the first night, Soobin will have a second concert in Hanoi, at the same time and location on the evening of May 27./.
