At the end of today's trading session, Vingroup 's VIC stock quickly increased to the ceiling price of VND111,200/share, up nearly 7% compared to the previous session.
Since the beginning of 2025, VIC shares have increased by about 140%, among the stocks with increased floor prices. Vingroup's market capitalization reached more than VND 420,000 billion, second only to Vietcombank .
Not only VIC but other stocks in the same Vin family also have good growth momentum: VHM increased by 2.56%, VRE increased by 2.28%, VPL increased by 3.79%.
Thanks to the acceleration of stocks, billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong's assets have accelerated rapidly, reaching 11.7 billion USD, an increase of 571 million USD, equivalent to 14,846 billion VND, according to real-time updates by Forbes .

The last time VIC had a significant negotiated transaction was on June 26, but with only 1.3 million shares, equivalent to a value of less than VND125 billion.
The Vietnamese stock market closed the first trading session of the week today in green with 492 stocks increasing, while only 255 stocks decreased. At the close, the VN-Index increased by nearly 33 points to 1,528.19 points. Liquidity on HoSE remained high, with matched value reaching VND30,900 billion.
VN30-Index jumped 39 points, equivalent to 2.4% to 1,653.2 points with 29/30 stocks increasing. Of which, VIC,SHB , TPB and VJC closed at the ceiling price; banking stocks such as HDB, TCB, SSB all increased by more than 3%. FPT was the only stock that decreased in the VN30 basket.
In addition to the VN30 group, many large-cap stocks also recorded strong increases such as NVL hitting the ceiling, VIX up 5.3%, VND up 4.7%, GEX up 1.2%... Cash flow is still mainly focused on the bluechip group, especially in pillar industries such as finance, real estate and industry, while energy, consumption and technology are clearly differentiated.
At the HNX floor, the HNX-Index increased by 3.4 points, equivalent to 1.3% to 268.4 points; UPCoM-Index also increased by 0.7 points, equivalent to 0.7% to 107.2 points.
