More than 300 students participate in summer volunteer campaign in Tuyen Quang

From July to August, more than 300 students from the following schools: Hanoi Medical University, Vietnam Youth Academy, University of Economics and Industrial Technology, Hanoi National Economics University, Hanoi Pedagogical University, Hanoi University of Science and Technology participated in the summer volunteer campaign in the communes of Son Thuy, Tan Thanh, Binh An, Kien Thiet, and Phu Linh.

Students of Hanoi National Economics University and local people made a road lighting project in Binh An commune.

Participating in the campaign, students from the schools organized many meaningful works and projects such as: medical examination, health consultation and free medicine distribution to people; installation of 500m of solar street lights; implementation of youth projects on community playgrounds, Thanh Nien flower roads, lighting up rural roads; beautifying the grounds of the memorial stele for heroic martyrs in communes; summer activities for children; supporting people in villages in environmental sanitation, clearing village roads and alleys, harvesting agricultural products; supporting people and authorities in implementing public administrative services...

At the same time, schools also gave hundreds of meaningful gifts to families in difficult circumstances, policy families, poor students who overcame difficulties, etc.

In line with the majors of each school, university students have carried out meaningful projects and tasks, suitable to the actual needs of the locality, creating a positive social impact, with a total welfare value of nearly 1 billion VND. Through the efforts of the volunteer forces, the summer volunteer campaign has brought about many effective and creative models of activities, associated with the actual needs of the localities.
