Tuyen Quang Newspaper, Radio and Television organized the Great Unity Day

On the morning of November 18, Tuyen Quang Newspaper, Radio and Television organized the National Great Unity Day to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2025). Attending the festival were comrade Mai Duc Thong, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Tuyen Quang Newspaper, Radio and Television, Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association; comrades in the Editorial Board and the entire staff, civil servants and employees.

Comrades in the Editorial Board, leaders of specialized departments and editors, reporters, technicians, and workers of Tuyen Quang Newspaper, Radio and Television attended the Festival.

At the Festival, the tradition of celebrating the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front was reviewed. Nearly a century has passed, with many different forms of organization, the Vietnam National United Front, now the Vietnam Fatherland Front , has always been loyal to the interests of the people, representing the tradition of national solidarity, national pride and self-respect, and the intelligence and strength of the entire people in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

Promoting the tradition of solidarity, staff, employees of Tuyen Quang Newspaper, Radio and Television have actively carried out patriotic emulation movements launched by all levels and sectors such as: "Skilled mass mobilization" emulation; "The whole country joins hands to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas"; "The whole country competes in innovation and digital transformation"... At the same time, propaganda work has been well implemented, comprehensively reflecting issues and events, ensuring promptness, accuracy and timeliness. In particular, after the merger, the agency's apparatus quickly stabilized, operating effectively and smoothly. In 2025, 13 press works won Central prizes; 11 press works won provincial prizes; 9 grassroots initiatives and solutions were evaluated and recognized.

Comrade Mai Duc Thong, Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Party Secretary, Editor-in-Chief of Tuyen Quang Newspaper, Radio and Television, Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association spoke at the Festival.

During the year, Tuyen Quang Newspaper, Radio and Television have carried out many projects and tasks to serve people's livelihood, provide disaster relief and prevent and control epidemics with a total value of more than 16.2 billion VND. Through the "Human Bridge" column, nearly 130 cases in communes and towns have received support of 7.3 billion VND and the "Kite Against the Wind" Program has mobilized more than 1 billion VND to build 3 houses, helping those in especially difficult circumstances. In addition, the Youth Union has maintained and carried out many volunteer activities, giving thousands of gifts and scholarships to students in difficult areas, poor households, and policy families, with a total value of more than 3.5 billion VND.

Comrade Tang Thi Ha, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Tuyen Quang Newspaper, Radio and Television, spoke at the Festival.

In a joyful and excited atmosphere, staff and workers gathered to discuss and share their thoughts and feelings after the merger; highlight good practices in implementing patriotic emulation movements; and build a developing press agency.

Editor-in-Chief Mai Duc Thong presented Certificates of Merit to groups with outstanding achievements.

Speaking at the Festival, Comrade Mai Duc Thong, Editor-in-Chief of Tuyen Quang Newspaper, Radio and Television, emphasized: In the context of merging 4 units, the workload increased, but the agency's collective has made efforts to overcome difficulties and achieved many outstanding results. Right from the first days of arrangement, the apparatus was consolidated, regulations and rules were completed promptly; the rights and regimes of civil servants, public employees and workers were guaranteed. The quality of press works has changed significantly, the content is richer, the forms of expression are more diverse, in which Tuyen Quang Online Newspaper is in the top 15 in terms of visits among local Party newspapers.

Deputy Editor-in-Chief Nguyen Binh Minh launched the 2026 emulation movement.

Comrade Mai Duc Thong affirmed that the road ahead with the core task is to build a strong, professional, humane and modern multimedia press agency. Therefore, each staff member and employee needs to continue to unite, promote the spirit of self-study, creativity, put work responsibility first, and contribute to building an increasingly developed agency.

At the Festival, the Editor-in-Chief of Tuyen Quang Newspaper, Radio and Television commended the Trade Union Executive Committee and the Youth Union Executive Committee for their achievements in launching and gathering the great solidarity strength of all staff, employees and workers to participate in the movements. Tuyen Quang Newspaper, Radio and Television also launched a response to the emulation movement in 2026.
