Anti-aircraft artillery - a durable low-altitude defense - is a place to test the steel spirit and precision and meticulousness of soldiers. The anti-aircraft artillery force has been reorganized to be lean, compact, strong, ready to intercept low-altitude targets and penetrate unexpectedly.

From solid battlefields in the resistance war to today's mobile formations, anti-aircraft artillery still plays a key role, a vital link in modern air defense and air force.

Radar - the first force to detect targets, on standby for combat 24/7 even in peacetime - is the divine eye of the Air Defense - Air Force. During this term, the radar infrastructure was extensively modernized, expanding the scanning range, improving anti-jamming capabilities, detecting many new target types, and linking multi-layer data.

Not only playing the role of observation and detection, radar forces also guide coordinated battles.

The Air Defense - Air Force Service also participates in large-scale exercises with Naval Region 3 and Naval Region 4 (Navy Service).

In January 2025, the Air Defense - Air Force Service was honored to welcome General Secretary To Lam to visit and work at the Automation Command Center, Air Defense - Air Force Service.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh congratulated officers and soldiers of Division 361 of the Air Defense - Air Force Service on successfully completing their mission of participating in the DT-23 exercise in December 2023.
