Hue City People's Committee said that since the beginning of the year, tourism activities in the city have improved a lot. Cultural services, festivals, unique features, and cultural identity of Hue within the framework of the National Tourism Year have created highlights, stimulated demand and attracted domestic and international tourists.
In July, the number of visitors to Hue City was estimated at 708,800, up 7.2% over the previous month and 80.3% over the same period last year. Of which, international visitors were estimated at 99,600, up 51.8%; domestic visitors were estimated at 609,200, up 86.1%. Tourism revenue was estimated at VND1,247 billion, up 6.4% over the previous month and 53.5% over the same period last year.

Since the beginning of the year, the number of tourists to Hue City is estimated at more than 4 million, up 71.2% over the same period; of which, international visitors are estimated at more than 1.2 million, up 41.4%; tourism revenue is estimated at VND 7,455 billion, up 55.9% over the same period.
Particularly for tourist attractions in the Complex of Hue Monuments, the total number of visitors was more than 2.1 million, up 25% over the same period; of which international visitors were 774,400, up 5.3%; domestic visitors were 1.3 million, up 39.8%. Total revenue from ticket sales reached more than 317 billion VND, up 21.9%.
Thus, in just the first 7 months of 2025, the number of tourists to Hue City has exceeded 3.9 million in 2024. A remarkable figure for the locality to aim to complete the goal set in 2025 of welcoming about 4.8 - 5 million tourists; of which international visitors account for about 38 - 40% of total visitors; total revenue from tourism reaches about 10,800 - 11,200 billion VND.
According to the Hue City People's Committee, from now until the end of the year, the locality will continue to successfully organize festival events, cultural and tourism activities within the framework of the National Tourism Year - Hue 2025 to create highlights to introduce and promote Hue City's tourist destinations.
