Meritorious Artist Phi Yen was moved when receiving affection from Ho Chi Minh City leaders
Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong expressed his emotion and respect for Meritorious Artist Phi Yen's gesture when she set up the Liberation Artistic Monument to commemorate her comrades who sacrificed their lives during their time in R at her private home.
Meritorious Artist Phi Yen hopes that today's young generation will always remember the origins of a generation of artists who fought and died to protect the country during the war and expects young artists to contribute to the development of literature and art in the future.
