The 2nd Art Exchange Program "Towards the 31st Golden Apricot Award - 2025" organized by Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper, took place on the morning of November 7, marking a new step forward for the prestigious cultural award after three decades of spreading humanistic values.
Constantly innovating

Mr. Bui Thanh Liem, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper, Head of the Organizing Committee of the 31st Mai Vang Awards - 2025, said that the 31st Mai Vang Awards continues to innovate, adding categories to honor artists, plays, political art programs, favorite songs and MVs, in order to catch up with the creative trends of young people and modern audience tastes.

According to Mr. Bui Thanh Liem, this year the Organizing Committee introduces an e-book (E-card) called "Mai Vang Nhan Ai" - "Mai Vang Tri An": Journey of spreading love", recording the emotional journey of more than 800 artists, intellectuals, veteran revolutionaries, and medical staff across the country.
"The 31st Golden Apricot Awards continues to affirm its role as a bridge between artists, the public and the press, a place where talents are discovered, honored and love for Vietnamese art is spread," Mr. Bui Thanh Liem emphasized.
People's Artist Tran Minh Ngoc, member of the Mai Vang Award Art Council, said he was very impressed with the innovation journey and humanistic approach that Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper has been implementing over the past years. According to him, the Mai Vang Award is increasingly expanding its topics, focusing on political and social works and plays that reflect the breath of the times, vividly reflecting the life and development journey of the country.
"It can be said that more than a third of my working life has been associated with the Mai Vang Award - nearly 30 years of companionship. This award is not only an award for artists, but also an honor for the entire performing arts of this creative and affectionate city" - People's Artist Tran Minh Ngoc affirmed.
Prestigious award
In a warm and friendly atmosphere at the Lao Dong Newspaper Hall, many artists who won the Mai Vang Award together recalled memories, shared their passion and contributed ideas to make the award more and more perfect, worthy of the stature of a cultural award with great influence across the country.
Meritorious Artist Kim Tu Long said he always considers the Mai Vang Award as a source of pride for Vietnamese artists, a measure of recognition for the artists' hard work, dedication and constant creativity throughout a year of dedication. "I hope that in the coming seasons, the organizing committee can separate the categories of drama and reformed opera, because these two genres have different artistic characteristics and both deserve recognition," he suggested.
He said he is willing to join the Lao Dong Newspaper in the activities of "Mai Vang Nhan Ai". "If there are programs combining performances to raise funds, I will be the first to register to contribute" - the male artist shared.
Actor Ly Hung emotionally expressed that, for him, the Mai Vang Award is a special mark in his career because it is an award voted by the audience, those who love and accompany the artist. According to actor Ly Hung, what makes him appreciate it even more is that Mai Vang not only honors talent but also accompanies artists with humanitarian programs such as "Mai Vang Charity" and "Mai Vang Tri An".
People's Artist Que Tran has been associated with the Mai Vang Award in many different roles. No matter what position she holds, she feels proud and honored. "The Mai Vang Award is a prestigious and prestigious award, and anyone working in the arts field wishes to have a good role, a good work, or a song that is well received by the audience at the end of the year to be honored" - People's Artist Que Tran confided.
Meritorious Artist Ca Le Hong, a member of the Mai Vang Award Council for many years, expressed her excitement to see that the reformed theater and drama are gradually recovering their vitality, with many art troupes boldly remaking historical plays, while also exploiting themes of life and current events, reflecting the contemporary breath as they enter a new era of development.

Spread kindness
Responding to the program "Mai Vang Nhan Ai" and "Mai Vang Tri An", after nearly 6 years of spreading humanitarian meaning, the Organizing Committee continues to receive the support of many artists. In particular, Meritorious Artist Vo Minh Lam donated 20 million VND, director Minh Nguyet donated 10 million VND, MC Phan Giang and Hoang Tung (TVFACE project) contributed 20 million VND. Actor Ly Hung donated 30 million VND. Previously, on September 24, the program also received support from Meritorious Artist Bao Quoc with 20 million VND and movie actress Nhat Kim Anh with 50 million VND.
