On November 7, Ho Chi Minh City University of Law held a Conference to summarize the 2024-2025 school year and summarize enrollment work in 2025.
At the conference, the school announced the decisions to recognize the School Council, Chairman of the School Council and Principal for the 2025-2030 term.
Specifically, Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Van Nhiem, Party Committee Secretary, holds the position of Chairman of the University Council for the 2025-2030 term. Dr. Le Truong Son holds the position of Rector of Ho Chi Minh City University of Law for the 2025-2030 term.

Previously, Dr. Le Truong Son held the position of Rector of Ho Chi Minh City University of Law from September 14, 2023, after a long period of no one taking this position.
According to the summary report of the 2024-2025 school year, the school has achieved many outstanding achievements. Training and enrollment have expanded in scale and training fields with the enrollment of two new undergraduate majors, international business and finance - banking, along with the enrollment of distance learning law programs.
In the 2024-2025 school year, the school enrolled nearly 700 students in high-quality classes, marking a strong growth of 152% compared to the previous school year.

Regarding scientific research, the number of international publications in journals in the Web of Sciences/Scopus database reached 29 articles, an increase of more than 20% compared to the 2023-2024 school year. The school is implementing a total of 12 Science and Technology topics at the ministerial and national levels by Nafosted and at the city level.
Regarding staff development, the school has nearly 500 staff and employees, including more than 330 lecturers including 4 professors, 20 associate professors, more than 300 doctors and masters. The school is continuing to raise the level and expand the preferential treatment policy for people with high academic titles and degrees.
In particular, the third facility in Long Phuoc ward (HCMC) was put into synchronous use from October 2025, marking a new step in the development of the school's scale and infrastructure.
