On November 8, at the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Cultural House, more than 500 students from many universities and colleges in the city participated in the "RTX AI PC Festival - Practical application of AI in study and work" organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Student Support Center (SAC) in collaboration with NVIDIA and ACER.
Mr. Le Huu Cuong, Director of GeForce Laptop ACER, said that the AI trend is shifting strongly from “cloud AI” to “personal AI”. This means that artificial intelligence models can operate right on personal computers, helping users to better secure data and be more proactive in the learning and research process.

Notably, applications like NVIDIA Broadcast attract a lot of interest from students thanks to its ability to automatically focus on characters, providing maximum support in studying, interviewing and online meetings via Microsoft Teams, Zoom...
At the workshop “Practical AI - applications in work and study”, Mr. Hoang Trong Nam, AI content creator of AMTECH Studio, guided students through the process of building simple applications based on popular AI models such as ChatGPT, Whisper (speech to text) or NLLB-200 (language translation).
According to Mr. Nam, AI is no longer a tool reserved for programmers. Even students in social sciences, communications, or architecture can use AI to increase productivity, save time, and develop creative thinking.

Sharing his experience, Tu Kien Thanh (4th year student at Ho Chi Minh City University of Architecture) said that in the past, he often used AI to support 3D drawing instructions or to look up ideas for projects. Today, he learned more about personal AI tools and how to secure data when using them, which is very useful for future work.
Not only stopping at the technology experience, the event also conveyed a message of career orientation. Mr. Le Nguyen Nam, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Student Support Center, said that the program gives students the opportunity to directly experience smart learning and working tools. Through that, students form a sense of self-study, master technology, and be ready to develop their future careers.

According to the plan, in the 2025-2026 school year, the Ho Chi Minh City Student Support Center will continue to coordinate with technology units to organize 10 topics on "Application of AI in study and life" at many universities and colleges in the city.
