Speaking at the festival, Ms. Andrea Maria Suhl, Consul General of Germany in Ho Chi Minh City, said that 2025 marks the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Germany and Vietnam. During that time, the two countries have had a close relationship in many fields, especially economics, science, culture, education... Many German companies are operating in Vietnam and Germany also has a large Vietnamese community living and working.
"Germany is one of the countries with the largest economies in the world but is currently facing demographic changes. German companies are urgently looking for qualified employees and skilled workers from abroad" - German Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City informed.
Mr. Marcus Malsch, State Secretary of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Agriculture and Rural Development of the state of Thuringia, said the festival is an opportunity to introduce job opportunities in the state of Thuringia and to address the shortage of skilled labor in businesses in Germany.
"Thüringen welcomes skilled workers from Vietnam and offers attractive job opportunities in an innovative economy," Mr. Marcus Malsch emphasized.

Students are directly taught by the company, work in practice and receive salary right from the training stage. After graduation, students have the freedom to choose to stay in Germany to work or continue their studies.
