A meaningful morning in Phu Nhuan ward - Ho Chi Minh City

(NLDO) - From the tournament, Phu Nhuan ward mobilized more than 250 million VND to support the Social Fund to take care of the lives of people in difficulty.

On November 8, Phu Nhuan Ward (HCMC) organized the 2025 Social Fund Table Tennis Tournament with the theme "Accompanying and caring for people in difficult circumstances".

The activity took place on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front - Traditional Day of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2025).

There are 26 athletes participating in the table tennis tournament in Phu Nhuan ward.

The tournament aims to create a joyful atmosphere, connect and encourage the sports movement in the community, and is also an opportunity for organizations, businesses and individuals to join hands to contribute and support people in difficult circumstances in the ward.

Speaking at the event, Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhu Y, Chairman of Phu Nhuan Ward People's Committee, emphasized that the table tennis tournament is not only a useful playground for health training and exchange between agencies and units, but also has profound humanitarian meaning. With the purpose of caring for the disadvantaged, studious children and spreading the spirit of "Joining hands for the community - Connecting love".

More than 250 million VND to support Phu Nhuan Ward Social Fund in 2025

Ms. Y also expressed her hope that the tournament will contribute to spreading the mass sports movement, creating a competitive and united atmosphere, aiming to build a civilized - affectionate - developed Phu Nhuan.

"I believe that with the spirit of honest, noble, united and devoted sportsmanship, the athletes will contribute good matches, demonstrating the will, determination and bravery of the people of Phu Nhuan" - Ms. Y added.

Phu Nhuan Ward leaders awarded commemorative medals and certificates of social fund raising to organizations, businesses and individuals who joined hands to contribute.

Athletes participating in the table tennis tournament received souvenirs from the organizers.

The event attracted 26 athletes from agencies, businesses and philanthropists to accompany the ward in social security work.

The 2025 Social Fund Table Tennis Tournament ended after more than an hour of exciting and tense competition.

Through the table tennis tournament, Phu Nhuan ward has mobilized more than 250 million VND to support the Social Fund - a practical resource to continue taking care of the lives of people in difficulty in the coming time.
