Implementing the plan to take care of the Lunar New Year 2026 for union members and workers

Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation has just issued a Plan to organize activities to care for union members and workers on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2026.

Accordingly, trade unions at all levels will launch a peak period of caring for and supporting union members and workers, especially at grassroots trade unions with a large number of direct workers. The care work focuses on those in difficult circumstances, affected by natural disasters, suffering from serious illnesses, occupational accidents, losing jobs, having reduced working hours or owing wages and bonuses; and union officials and union members who have to move far away due to organizational restructuring.

With the motto "All union members and workers have Tet, enjoy Tet", the Provincial Labor Federation will host the program "Union Tet Market - Spring 2026", providing essential goods and services at preferential prices, giving away shopping vouchers and "0 VND" products; participating in the online program "Union Tet Market 2026" deployed by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, with more than 4,000 gifts, worth 500,000 VND/gift for union members. Along with that are cultural and sports activities, gift giving, legal advice, health advice, medicine distribution and free motorbike oil changes for union members and workers.

The Provincial Labor Federation will visit, give gifts, and celebrate Tet in areas with a high concentration of workers in difficult circumstances, low income, affected by natural disasters or working in toxic and dangerous environments. It is expected that the Provincial Labor Federation will draw from union financial resources and socialized resources to support 10,540 union members and workers in difficult circumstances, each case will receive 1 million VND in cash during this year's Lunar New Year.

This year, the "Tet Sum Vay" program will be organized simultaneously at all units. In particular, there will be a "Union Year-end Meal" activity for union members and workers on the occasion of the Year of the Horse 2026. Depending on the actual situation of the enterprise, locality and the number of union members and workers who do not return home for Tet, the grassroots unions will organize warm, joyful programs bearing the Union's mark. In case many union members stay, the units will implement the "Tet not far from home" program or other suitable activities; pay attention to visiting, giving gifts, and organizing Tet for workers at the boarding house, construction sites, and projects before New Year's Eve.
