Inspiring ideas, opening new directions for the young generation

With the theme "Tuy Hoa Youth innovates, pioneers in developing science and technology", the conference attracted a large number of union members and young people to participate with many frank opinions, demonstrating the open and receptive spirit of the local government in listening to the thoughts, aspirations and creative ideas of the young generation.

Many union members believe that in the context of strong digital transformation, young people need to be equipped with additional technological skills, vocational skills and soft skills to adapt to new requirements of the labor market.

Youth Union member Nguyen Dinh Phuc, Nguyen Dinh Chieu Ward Youth Union, shared: “We hope the ward will pay attention to supporting more training courses on digital transformation, skills in using technology in learning and starting a business. Many young people have very good creative ideas but lack the conditions to test, lack capital or connections to realize them.”

Meanwhile, young Le Thi Thanh Huyen, from the Youth Union of Ninh Tinh 5 Ward, said: “Currently, social networks and digital platforms open up many opportunities for young people to study, work and promote their creative products. We hope to access more digital startup support programs, guidance on how to build personal brands and protect data security when participating in the online environment.”

According to Tuy Hoa Ward Youth Union Secretary Nguyen Thi Nhu Quyen, the dialogue conference between Tuy Hoa Ward People's Committee leaders and young people is a meaningful activity, helping young people to speak up and directly discuss with ward leaders about issues closely related to life. From the opinions at the dialogue conference, the ward Youth Union will continue to build a program to accompany young people in studying, starting a business, digital transformation and innovation, contributing to the formation of a dynamic, brave and creative youth generation.

At the conference, many opinions of young people focused on current and development-oriented issues such as: preventing fraud in cyberspace, organizing a movement of technical innovation among students, applying technology in tourism promotion, introducing jobs for young people after discharge, investing in facilities for scientific research and innovation. Representatives of the ward's specialized departments and offices discussed and answered each opinion in detail, and introduced vocational training programs, support for startups, and improve technological capacity and digital skills for young people.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Bui Le Khiem, Deputy Chief of Tuy Hoa Ward Police, young people are a group of people who are easily influenced by information on the internet. Therefore, dialogue, orientation and knowledge provision are very necessary. “We hope that children will use technology intelligently and safely, avoiding being drawn into false information or sophisticated scams,” Lieutenant Colonel Khiem shared.

According to Mr. Le Vi Dong, Deputy Head of the Department of Culture and Society of Tuy Hoa Ward, in the digital age, young people are the pioneering, creative force and have the fastest access to new knowledge. Their dynamism is an important foundation to help the locality effectively transform digitally, develop the digital economy and form digital citizens.

Speaking at the dialogue conference, Vice Chairwoman of Tuy Hoa Ward People's Committee Huynh Thi Kieu Diem emphasized: "The ward government always respects and recognizes the proactive and creative spirit of young people. In the coming time, the ward will coordinate with organizations, businesses and youth unions to build digital programs to create space for you to test ideas, exchange experiences, connect with social resources to realize your dream of starting a business."
