Launching the song search contest about the Culture, Sports and Tourism sector

The competition is open to professional and amateur musicians who are Vietnamese citizens or foreigners living in Vietnam; organizations, individuals, and music lovers.

On November 13, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism launched the Songwriting Contest about the Culture, Sports and Tourism sector - a meaningful activity, aiming to honor the values, spirit and identity of those who are dedicating day and night to the cause of "building and developing an advanced Vietnamese culture imbued with national identity."

According to Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong, the Contest is organized to find new works of high artistic value and influence, praising the belief, love for the profession and the desire to contribute of the team of cadres, civil servants, artists, athletes and workers in the whole industry.

This is also an opportunity to inspire creativity among artists, create songs that accompany the industry, and contribute to spreading the message: "Culture is the spiritual foundation of society, both the goal and the driving force of the country's sustainable development."

“The contest is not only an artistic playground, but also a journey to connect emotions, arouse pride and dedication of those who love art and the industry. I believe that from this contest, we will have more good, emotional songs, becoming a common voice of the whole industry, a source of spiritual encouragement for generations of cadres, artists and athletes today and tomorrow,” said Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong.

The Organizing Committee encourages songs that praise the tradition, role and contribution of the Culture, Sports and Tourism sector in the country's development; Honor national cultural values, sports spirit, sustainable tourism, modern and integrated Vietnamese people; Arouse pride, inspiration, creativity and innovation in the whole sector.

Professional and amateur musicians who are Vietnamese citizens or foreigners living, working, studying and working in Vietnam; organizations, individuals, music lovers, and those who are capable of composing music can submit their works. Music genres include: Chamber music, light music, contemporary folk music, jazz, rock, pop, choir, solo. The Organizing Committee will accept entries from now until December 15./.
