Vietnam and China promote theoretical and media exchanges through high-level talks

The two sides agreed to increase theoretical and ideological exchanges; step up propaganda about the traditional friendship and achievements of comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, two countries and two peoples.

On November 13, 2025, at the Party Central Committee Headquarters, Comrade Trinh Van Quyet, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, held talks with Comrade Ly Thu Loi, Politburo member, Secretary of the Secretariat, Head of the Propaganda Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee.

At the talks, Comrade Trinh Van Quyet welcomed Comrade Ly Thu Loi leading the delegation of the Communist Party of China to visit Vietnam and highly appreciated the success of the 20th Theoretical Workshop between the two Parties; emphasizing that the visit contributed to concretizing the common perception of the top leaders of the two Parties and two countries regarding the Vietnam-China relationship.

Congratulating China on its great achievements in recent times, Comrade Trinh Van Quyet expressed his belief that the Communist Party of China, with General Secretary and President Xi Jinping as its core, will successfully achieve the goals set by the 20th Congress; affirming that Vietnam always attaches importance to and gives top priority to developing relations with China.

Comrade Ly Thu Loi expressed his joy in visiting Vietnam again; congratulated Vietnam on its socio-economic development achievements in recent times under the leadership of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam , headed by General Secretary To Lam; and wished the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam a success, opening a new era of development for the Vietnamese nation.

Congratulating comrade Trinh Van Quyet on his recent appointment as Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, comrade Ly Thu Loi affirmed his readiness to work with comrade Trinh Van Quyet, as well as the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission of the Communist Party of Vietnam, to consolidate the good working relationship, contributing to promoting the continuous development of China-Vietnam relations.

In a friendly and sincere atmosphere, the two sides highly appreciated the positive developments in the Vietnam-China relationship in recent times, in which the cooperation between the Central Propaganda and Education Commission of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Central Propaganda Commission of the Communist Party of China has increasingly played an important role.

Emphasizing the importance of thoroughly grasping and implementing the common perception between the two General Secretaries, Comrade Trinh Van Quyet and Comrade Ly Thu Loi agreed to promote the pioneering role and strategic orientation of Party channel relations for the overall relationship between the two countries in the new period; and increase experience sharing in theoretical research and Party building.

The two sides exchanged a number of directions to promote cooperation and friendly exchanges between the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Central Propaganda Department of the Communist Party of China.

Accordingly, the two Committees agreed to maintain regular cooperation, focusing on enhancing theoretical and ideological exchanges; promoting propaganda about the traditional friendship and achievements of comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, two countries and peoples; enhancing cooperation between media agencies, exchanges between mass organizations, especially the young generation, firmly consolidating the social foundation for sustainable and long-term development of the relationship between the two Parties and two countries; at the same time, jointly making efforts to maintain peace, stability, better control and resolve disagreements, ensuring compliance with high-level common perceptions and international law./.
