Promoting culture and brands from ASEAN countries and China in Guangzhou

On November 6, the Festival "Original Beauty: From ASEAN to the World" introduced the cultural characteristics and typical national brands of China and ASEAN countries to international and local friends.

The event was organized by the Consulate General of Vietnam in coordination with the Consulates General of ASEAN countries in Guangzhou and the Crown Plaza Guangzhou Hotel of Guangdong International Building Enterprises Co.LTD.

A large number of delegates attended the Festival 'Original Beauty: from ASEAN to the world '.

The event was attended by more than 500 guests including leaders of Guangzhou city and Viet Tu district, leaders of departments, branches and sectors of Guangzhou city, the Consulate, numerous representatives of associations, businesses, and international students from China and ASEAN countries (Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam).

With the theme "Original Beauty : From ASEAN to the World", this Festival event is an opportunity for the Consulates General of ASEAN countries to introduce to international friends and China the unique indigenous culture, tourism, architecture, fashion , cuisine, and at the same time promote typical product brands of China and ASEAN countries.

On this occasion, in addition to the unique beauty of each country, the Consulates General of ASEAN countries presented the image of the ASEAN community united in diversity, introducing universal and sustainable spiritual values ​​that have shaped the cultural identity of Southeast Asia.

Besides, the Festival is also a bridge to promote, introduce and connect businesses and industry associations between countries in the region and with Chinese partners.

Through the event, international and local friends in Guangzhou witnessed a miniature image of a dynamic, cohesive and self-reliant ASEAN community, with a common determination and high priority for strengthening economic connectivity, promoting trade and investment, and actively contributing to the common prosperity in the region.

At the Festival, Consul General Nguyen Viet Dung shared and introduced to international friends typical Vietnamese brands such as Trung Nguyen coffee , TH Group's milk and tea products, Hanoi beer, Saigon beer, Truc Bach beer and invited international friends to enjoy the rich flavors of Vietnamese cuisine.

Vietnam's booth was visited by many international friends, who learned about and enjoyed the unique dishes, from dishes that have become trademarks of Vietnamese cuisine such as traditional spring rolls, filter coffee, to snacks that have not been widely promoted or introduced such as: dried beef, roasted peanuts with basil...

The event is also an opportunity for youth and students from ASEAN countries to enhance exchanges, learn, strengthen solidarity, and through that build a solid social foundation in the ASEAN community.
