Many students expressed their emotions when they were able to visit and listen to historical stories, thereby understanding more about the heroic sacrifices of previous generations.
Sharing with reporters from the Vietnam Women's Newspaper, student Phinphana Viphonhiane (Lao nationality, studying International Business at Ton Duc Thang University) said this was the second time she participated in the program.
"Every time I participate, I feel very happy and learn many new things. This trip is very meaningful because I get to visit historical sites, interact with Vietnamese families and students, and learn more about Vietnamese culture and people," Phinphana said.
Lao Dong newspaper quoted Lao student Chittaphonh Linda (Nguyen Tat Thanh University) as saying that the trip was an opportunity for her to connect with Vietnamese mothers, giving her a warm feeling like being in her own family.
For Ms. Do Thi Phuong Anh (Sai Gon ward, Ho Chi Minh City), who has participated in the program for 4 years, the program is a special opportunity for her to meet and share with the children of Laos and Cambodia, and at the same time help students understand more about the customs and practices of the Vietnamese people.

On the same day, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation and the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Union organized a cultural exchange meeting between Vietnamese families and Lao and Cambodian students. Here, families and students participated in a contest to learn about the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh ; the traditional culture of the three countries Vietnam - Laos - Cambodia and performed the national costumes of each country.

She thanked the families and students for actively participating in the program, and emphasized that this was a noble gesture, contributing to strengthening people-to-people diplomacy between the people of Ho Chi Minh City and the people of Laos and Cambodia.
