Most likely, the players in the third group will miss the opening match against host U22 China because they do not have time to practice and recover their fitness. In addition, the hasty preparation for the 2025 Panda Cup is considered a big challenge for coach Dinh Hong Vinh and his team.

However, with a squad consisting of mostly players who are maintaining good form in the V-League and have trained together through many training sessions since the end of 2024, U22 Vietnam is expected to enter the competition confidently and achieve high professional efficiency in this international tournament.

According to the schedule, in the Panda Cup, U22 Vietnam will face U22 China (November 12), U22 Uzbekistan (November 15) and U22 Korea (November 18). After the tournament, the whole team will return home to prepare for the 33rd SEA Games in December.
