From the perspective of the overseas Vietnamese community, especially women, businessmen and intellectuals, she expressed her strong agreement with the policy of firmly pursuing the goal of national independence associated with socialism - the ideological foundation and compass for the country's development.
In the context of a rapidly changing world, she suggested that the Document clarify the content of the modern, humane socialist model, adapting to the market economy , international integration, digital transformation and green development.
Ms. Huong appreciated the draft's emphasis on the role of the private sector as an important driving force of the economy. According to her, this sector is increasingly dynamic, innovative and has many contributions to growth, employment and integration.
Therefore, she proposed that the Document deepen the coordination mechanism between the State - enterprises - society to form a transparent and sustainable development environment, while promoting social responsibility, gender equality and environmental protection in the business sector.
One issue that she is particularly interested in is the issue of national solidarity – the Party’s consistent strategic line. She affirmed that overseas Vietnamese are always an inseparable part of the national solidarity bloc, an important bridge in people-to-people diplomacy and promoting the country’s image.
From the practice of community activities in Europe, she suggested that the Document continue to perfect the coordination mechanism between the Fatherland Front , domestic organizations and the overseas Vietnamese community to promote the intelligence, resources and solidarity of more than 6 million Vietnamese people living abroad.
In her comments on the Action Program to implement the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress, the President of the Vietnam Women's Union in Poland highly appreciated the spirit of innovation, the mindset of rapid and sustainable development, as well as the determination for green transformation and digital transformation.
On that basis, she proposed many specific solutions to promote overseas Vietnamese resources in socio-economic development, including researching and developing a National Strategy on the Vietnamese community abroad for the 2026-2030 period, with a vision to 2035.
This strategy, according to her, will create a synchronous framework to effectively mobilize the intellectual, economic and cultural resources of overseas Vietnamese, contributing to strengthening the strength of great national unity in new conditions.
Regarding the role of women, Ms. Huong suggested that the Document more clearly demonstrate the position of Vietnamese women abroad in people-to-people diplomacy and promoting the country's image.
She emphasized: Overseas Vietnamese women are a force with rich creative potential, with many contributions in culture, education, volunteering, and international exchange; at the same time, they are an important "soft diplomacy channel", spreading the image of a humane, modern, and integrated Vietnam.
In the economic field, she proposed adding policies to promote women's businesses in the context of digital transformation and green development.
Some initiatives she highlighted include: building a Women-owned Enterprise Development Fund; applying preferential bidding and public procurement policies for women-owned enterprises; organizing training programs on digital management, sustainable business and green transformation for women.
Besides, Ms. Huong emphasized the importance of preserving Vietnamese culture and language and supporting the young generation of Vietnamese people abroad.
She proposed to include the Vietnamese language teaching and learning program in the group of national target programs on culture; develop a global Vietnamese language learning platform; expand youth exchange programs, and cultural - scientific - technological exchanges between Vietnam and young overseas Vietnamese.
Notably, she proposed two new action programs that need to be considered in implementing the 14th National Congress Resolution: the National Program to Promote Resources of Overseas Vietnamese (2026–2030) and the Initiative “Women's Diplomacy – Global Vietnamese Culture”.
These initiatives aim to connect knowledge, enhance cultural and educational cooperation, creative startups, and spread Vietnamese values to the world.
Ms. Tong Thu Huong affirmed that the Vietnamese community abroad, including intellectuals, businessmen and overseas Vietnamese women, always attach importance to their responsibility to the homeland and are ready to accompany the Party, State and People in the cause of building a prosperous and happy country.
“With our intelligence, experience and love for our homeland, we always wish to contribute more to the development of the Fatherland, especially in the current period of strong innovation and deep integration,” she emphasized.
The comments of the Vietnamese Women's Association in Poland are vivid evidence of the sense of responsibility of overseas Vietnamese towards the country, and at the same time reflect the important role of Vietnamese women abroad in people's diplomacy, building the great national unity bloc and contributing to the sustainable development of Vietnam in the new period.
