Faced with the complicated developments of storm No. 3 (Wipha), units have strictly followed the instructions of their superiors. With the motto of "4 on-site", border posts and stations have proactively coordinated closely with local authorities and forces, organized communication, and called on boats to take shelter in safe places. At the same time, they have increased patrolling, controlling the area, and propagandizing fishermen to strictly comply with storm prevention and control regulations.
The units strictly maintained combat readiness, fully deployed forces and vehicles. The entire force mobilized 380 officers and soldiers along with 28 vehicles of various types (ships, boats, specialized cars), ready to mobilize to carry out tasks when situations arose.
Storm monitoring and updating are carried out regularly. Units effectively use the rescue information system, regularly assigning staff to work 24/7 to ensure that information is not interrupted; thereby, promptly providing information and guidance to vehicles at sea to proactively avoid and avoid entering dangerous areas.
“It is necessary to maintain a high level of vigilance and strictly maintain the on-duty regime. Forces and vehicles must always be ready to move. Officers and soldiers must stay close to the area, stick to the fishermen, proactively prepare all plans, and coordinate closely with the locality when a situation arises, ensuring absolute safety for the lives and property of the people,” Colonel Hoang Minh Hung directed.
