Soldiers of the 312th Division worked through the night to protect dikes and evacuate people.
On October 9th and 10th, soldiers of the 312th Division (12th Corps) urgently deployed to support the authorities and people of Trung Gia and Da Phuc communes (Hanoi City) in responding to dike breaches and rising river levels that threatened the lives and property of the people.

Colonel Phung Minh Nam, Deputy Commander of the 312th Division, said that the Division had proactively coordinated with the authorities and people of Trung Gia and Da Phuc communes, and the Command of Defense Zone 1 - Soc Son to organize the khắc phục hậu quả (mitigation of consequences) of typhoons No. 10 and 11 and the post-typhoon circulation that caused widespread flooding in the area.
The division mobilized approximately 2,000 officers and soldiers from various units, including Regiment 141, Artillery Regiment 68, Engineering Battalion 17, Medical Battalion 24, Transport Battalion 25, Repair Company 26, and Communications Battalion 18, to relocate nearly 300 households and their belongings from flooded areas to safety; placed sandbags to prevent water from overflowing along a 10km stretch of dike; and assisted residents in harvesting 2 hectares of rice and other crops.
After a short rest, officers and soldiers of the Division continued to mobilize forces, coordinating with local militia to spread out in all directions, assisting in moving materials from government agencies, medical stations, schools, etc., to safe locations.
